Learn classical mosaic techniques and make your own mosaic to take home, under the guidance of an Italy-trained Master Mosaicist!

Olivia is a New York City-based mosaic fabricator, who has worked on various public art mosaics around the city. In this class we will talk about the progression of mosaic styles throughout history, and then get hands on, learning how to cut material with a hammer and “tagliolo” and then making your own custom mosaic art piece.

NB: Your piece will have to set for a while before it can be moved. Ideally it would be 24 hours, you can pick it up the next day (Sunday May 19 or Monday May 20, between 11am-6pm).
