Highlight: Workshop Calligraffiti

Amsterdam based artist Daan Wille, aka Blazin, has specialized in calligraffiti, a combination of calligraphy and graffiti. With the famous graffiti writer Shoe as his source of inspiration, Wille is by now an all-round graphic designer, with a passion for calligraffiti. Due to high demand, he will be back in 2019!

Testimonial Marina Ruiz Molina - paper conservator Metropolitan Museum of Art

As an art conservator I care deeply for the materiality of beautiful things and for the intergenerational transmission of the wisdom to make them. The Craft in Focus Festival is a paradise for people like me who believe in the importance of the tangible in the era of the cybernated. The amount of creativity and knowledge that the Festival brings together is truly inspirational.”
